Some Long Overdue Updates!!!

Hey, friends!! It has been an embarrassingly long time since I've gotten around to posting any updates, so here's a whirlwind of sorts!

First, long, long ago, lazy mouse #6, 7, and 8 came on board to do a project that my niece and I are super excited about!!  Mike Czyzniejewski, author of Chicago Stories and Elephants in Our Bedroom,  and Karen Craigo, author of Stone for an Eye will be teaming up to write a children's book, with the greatly admired up-and-coming artist Ernie Czyzniejewski to do all the drawings! To see a sample of Ernie's fantastic work, look here!  This project will be coming out later in the year -- keep an eye peeled for the release date!!

Second, we've got yet another project lined up for the fall!! Writer Lyle Catherton will be teaming up with musician and visual artist Toby Goodshank to put out a small illustrated chapbook with us later in the year.  To check out some of Toby's art and music stuff go here! Or here!  Lyle, however, is shrouded in mystery, and if you want to see what he's all about, you'll have to wait until his chapbook, The Mesosphere is finished and ready to buy!!

Third, Catherine Reed Keefe's chapbook, La Llorana is coming along!  All we have left to do now is put it together, and it'll be ready to ship!  Watch out for a chance to pre-order a copy later in the week!  Here's a sneak peak at her beautiful art work!!

Fourth, Nic Hampton's band poster broadsides are coming along beautifully!  He had four separate artists working with him on this project: painter Julia Haw, musician and artist Rory Svekric, John Stiger, and Beverly Fitzpatrick.  As soon as we get the last piece of the puzzle, these will be up for pre-order!  Keep an eye out, too, for some reading dates in the midwest!!

Last but not least, Chris Clavin is still busy busy busy on his Europe tour, and if we're lucky, we might get a preview of what he's been working on some time in July, so don't forget to check back for that!  And, of course, the lovely Nikkita Cohoon will be working on her poetry postcard series, although the release date for this project may be put on hold for now.

I could not be more excited about all of this beautiful art I've been getting over the past few months, and I can't wait to get it in the mail on its way to you!!  <3
